Even though our focus is on getting you ready for competitions, it’s not a must to compete in carnivals. But our training is designed to make you the best you can be—so you'll be more than ready if you choose to dive into competition!

We are thrilled to announce that the Portland Surf Life Saving Club is an official participant in the Get Active Kids Voucher Program. This is a fantastic opportunity for parents and carers to support their children's love for sport and recreation.

We at Portland Surf Life Saving Club are excited to announce the launch of our Wetsuit Donation Program, a community-driven initiative designed to support our club and promote inclusivity in the world of surf life saving.
What's Happening?
Donate Wetsuits: If you have spare wetsuits that are gathering dust, consider donating them to our club. Your contribution can make a big difference! To contribute a wetsuit to our program, please inform us via our contact form and we'll arrange pickup. Alternatively, you're welcome to bring your wetsuit donations directly to our club on event days. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our cause in person and see the impact of your generosity firsthand. Please check our calendar for suitable dates and come join us in making a difference!"
Buy Donated Wetsuits: Looking for a wetsuit? Soon, you'll be able to purchase one from our collection of donated wetsuits through our website. Not only will you find a great deal, but you'll also be supporting our club's efforts.
Inclusivity for Young Surfers: To ensure every child has the opportunity to participate, some of the donated wetsuits will be loaned to kids who need them for the Nippers season.
Why Get Involved? Your support helps us enhance our club's services, making water activities safer and more accessible for everyone. By donating, buying, or simply spreading the word, you're playing a crucial role in our mission.

Today, the Portland Surf Life Saving Club received a generous $250 donation from the Portland branch of Commonwealth Bank Australia. Special thanks go to Kayla Biender for presenting the cheque and to the branch staff for voting to support us. The funds will be put to great use, aiding in community outreach, member development, and our ongoing Nippers programs.
